SUMMARY OF EXPERIENCE

Mr. Ketch has over 15 years of experience on a variety of transportation related projects. His work has dealt with many modes of transportation, ranging from conceptual planning to detailed design of transport facilities and infrastructure, feasibility and market research studies, and cost savings analyses. Mr. Ketch is currently the liaison and quality controller for Brun-Way Construction Inc. Project, as well as the liaison for other A.D. Fiander Associates Ltd. clients. Mr. Ketch has been involved in the design, daily construction activities and contract closeout of numerous projects, most notably the Fredericton to Moncton Highway. He has experience in field adjusted design, as-built quantities, quantity reconciliation, contract closeout, contract progress payment preparation, scheduling, preparation of design variances, value engineering and dispute resolution. While with Maritime Road Development Corporation, Mr. Ketch was responsible for managing four different departments, each with specific roles; As-built Quantities, Field Adjusted Design, Contract Closeout and Dispute Resolution. Mr. Ketch has successfully closed out contracts totaling over 50 million dollars. His previous projects have also involved the planning and design of two and four lane arterial highways, connector roads, access roads, interchanges and detours, as well as preparation of contract plans, quantities, estimates, specifications and as-built drawing packages.     SPECIFIC PROJECT EXPERIENCE

  • Review of Technical Standards and Specifications for Irving LNG Access Road for the City of Saint John.

  • Design of approximately 32 km of mainlanes as well as interchanges, side roads and access roads between Woodstock and the Big Presque Isle Stream for Brun-Way Construction Inc., the successful consortium awarded the contract to design, build, operate, maintain and rehabilitate 275 kilometres of Route 2 Trans Canada Highway between Edmundston and Longs Creek, as well as Route 95.

  • Design of Route 17 between Grand Forks and Violette Brook, including an at-grade intersection at the Irving Veneer gate (approx. 5 km).

  • Assisted the Brun-Way Group Joint Venture with preparation of a proposal to the New Brunswick Department of Transportation to design, build and finance a 98 kilometre section of the Trans-Canada Highway between Grand Falls and Woodstock. The successful proponent for this project will also be responsible for the operation, maintenance and rehabilitation of 275 kilometres of highway between Edmundston and Longs Creek, as well as Route 95. Our input included preliminary design, drawing preparation and quantity estimates for 32 km of mainlanes as well as interchanges, side roads and access roads between Woodstock and the Big Presque Isle Stream. Design survey for 15 km was also included.

  • Design of new 4-lane Trans-Canada Highway - Murray Lake to Deerwood Drive (RAD 120 -4.3 km).

  • Conceptual design, Right of Way identification and design for mainlanes, interchanges and side road for new Route 1 - L'Etang Brook to 1 km west of existing Route 1 in Pennfield, New Brunswick (RAD 120 - 12 km).

  • Right of Way identification, design and survey of new 4-lane Trans-Canada Highway - Eel River to Benton Road (RAD 120 - 3.5 km).

  • Involved with Maritime Highway Corporation (Canadian Highways International Corporation) to prepare and submit a proposal to the New Brunswick Department of Transportation to design, build and maintain a new 4-lane toll highway from Fredericton to Moncton, New Brunswick (RAD 120 - 195 km).

  • Alignment and Right of Way identification for new Trans-Canada Highway - from existing Route 2 at Coles Island to Kings County Line (RAD 120 - 23 km).

  • Design of portion of the Highway 104 Western Alignment Toll Highway in the Wentworth Valley in Nova Scotia including mainlanes, interchanges and side roads (RAD 110 - 28.5 km) for client - Atlantic Highways Corporation.

  • Design and alternate design cost analysis of the New Brunswick Approach Roadway to the Confederation Bridge to Prince Edward Island (RAU 100 - 7.2 km) for client - Strait Crossing Inc.

  • Design and survey of new 4-lane highway, interchanges and side roads - Route 1 - Hampton to Norton (RAD 120 - 13 km).

  • Planning of proposed corridor for new 4-lane Trans-Canada Highway, interchanges and side roads - Coles Island to River Glade (RAD 120 - 47 km).

  • Planning of proposed corridor for Edmundston Truck Route - Baker Brook to Saint Jacques (RCU 90 - 20 km).

  • Right of Way identification and design of new 4-lane Trans-Canada Highway, interchanges and side roads - MGR Lang to Riviere Verte (RAD 110 - 15 km).
